eFX Nautilus Replica now available for pre-order

Tom Scherman mastered the creation of Nautilus models. The great Ray Bradbury posessed one of Tom's models and displayed it on his desk at the opening of his TV show.

Many Nautilus collectible models were released since Tom passed away but the biggest one available for everyone in a collector's edition is for sure the eFX Nautilus replica that was designed by Scott Brodeen and which will be released in Summer 2010.

Visitors of the 2009 Comicon and D23 Expo had a preview of it and were amazed by this new and gorgeous 4 foot long Nautilus replica produced by eFX, and now eFX is taking pre-orders for this highly awaited replica. The pictures of this article are official pictures from eFX, but two things will change - for the better - in the final version: First, the battery box with a cable that you can see under the Nautilus - needed for the lights inside the submarine - will be located inside the Nautilus. Also, there will be a new design for the stand inspired by an architecture element of Nemo's Grand Salon.

Price of this beautiful replica is $1799. This total can be paid in four installments; you'll get all details on the eFX web site.
